Privacy notice
This notice explains what information Tahsooke collects through tahsooke.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Tahsooke builds educational apps and websites. For any privacy question or request, email admin@tahsooke.com.
What we collect
If you join our list, we collect:
- your email address
- whether you ticked the box to be an early tester
- the date and time you signed up
This website has no accounts and no advertising. We only count visits if you agree to it (see Cookies and visitor statistics below).
Why we use it
We use your email address only to:
- tell you when we launch a new app or website
- invite you to try apps before they launch, if you asked to be an early tester
We rely on your consent to do this. We will never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Sign-ups are stored in a private Google Sheet (Google) that only Tahsooke can access. The website is hosted by Vercel, and its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google to download them. These providers may process data outside the UK, under their own safeguards.
Cookies and visitor statistics
When you first visit, we ask what you're happy for us to use:
- Essential (always on): your browser remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Visitor statistics (only if you choose "Accept all" or switch it on): we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, and what kind of device they use. It does not use cookies, and it identifies a visitor only through an anonymous code that resets every 24 hours. We only see totals, never who you are.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After that we remove them from our list.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can simply email admin@tahsooke.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
